Description
The finest richly worked antique cabinets, in all shapes and sizes, wonderful interior finds await you at Benoa. Each unique piece has been carefully selected in India. What are Indian furniture pieces? Indian furniture is often robust and characterised by thick, heavy wood. These authentic cabinets are made from old doors and beautiful shutters from India. The pieces are never the same and are therefore always unique, and you could say they have a 'past'. The cabinets and sideboards are sometimes finished in soft, faded colours, creating a vintage effect. There are often signs of use on the pieces too, which reinforces this effect. Despite their size and robust character, the refinement lies in the patterns worked into the wood. All of this gives Indian furniture a colonial character.
