At 125 cm across, this Martani is not a modest fixture. It fills the space above a dining table or in an open living area with presence. The metal slats catch the light differently from every angle, and four light points plus three extra downlights in the ceiling plate give you light you can actually control.

Light that follows the moment

What sets this version apart from the smaller models is the dimming. Two LED dimmers and a remote control are included, so you can switch from bright light for working or reading at the table to a softer setting for the evening without leaving your chair. The four downlights deliver 550 lumen at 2000 to 2700 kelvin, so the light grows warmer as you dim it.

Handmade in Uden

ZTAHL builds the Martani in Uden, the Netherlands, together with social workshops. You notice it in the 20 kg weight and in the finish of the slats. The lamp hangs 150 cm to the underside and comes in Quartz 2 and Platinum. The Ø 35 cm ceiling plate carries three downlights of its own, adding focused light straight onto the table.
