Teddy fabric is reasonably strong and lasts a long time under normal use. Compared with a smooth fabric it is slightly more delicate, because the loops hold dirt and moisture a little more readily. For a family with young children or pets, an armchair with a stain and moisture repellent treatment is therefore a sensible choice. Caring for your teddy armchair

A teddy armchair stays beautiful with little effort. Vacuum it regularly with a soft brush so dust and lint do not stay caught in the fibres. Treat stains straight away: blot them carefully with a slightly damp cloth and rub dry, so do not wait for them to soak in. Do not wash the upholstery in the washing machine. Preferably do not place the armchair directly opposite a window, because prolonged direct sunlight can eventually fade the colour.
