Mokana has been furnishing homes from Enschede since 1998. Our advisers speak English, our showroom covers 3,000 square metres, and we deliver anywhere in the Netherlands with our own team. What you will find in the showroom
Three thousand square metres, part of it inside a listed church building. Sofas you can actually sit on, dining tables you can run your hand across, and about forty brands ranging from Dutch manufacturers to Italian leather specialists. Nothing is arranged as a catalogue: rooms are set up as rooms, so you can see how a piece behaves in a real space.
Our speciality is solid wood. Suar tree-trunk tables in particular, each slab unique, selected by hand. If you are looking for something that is genuinely one of a kind rather than one of five hundred, that is where we tend to start.
Buying furniture in the Netherlands as an English speaker
The practical things people usually want to know. Our advisers speak English and so does our delivery team. Quotes, invoices and warranty documents can be issued in English on request. You can pay on delivery rather than upfront, which many people find reassuring when ordering a piece that takes weeks to make.
Delivery within the Netherlands is a flat fee and handled by our own drivers, not a courier. They carry the piece to the room you want it in, assemble what needs assembling, and take the packaging away. We also deliver to Belgium and Germany.

- Yes. Our advisers, our customer service team and our delivery drivers all speak English. German too, since we are ten kilometres from the border.

- These pages are. The product catalogue itself is in Dutch, which is why we have written these overviews: they explain what we sell and how buying from us works. For any specific piece, message us and we will answer in English.
- Can I order if I live elsewhere in the Netherlands?
- Yes. We deliver throughout the Netherlands with our own team for a flat fee, and to Belgium and Germany as well. Most customers visit the showroom once and arrange the rest by email or phone.
