Which fabric suits you?
The upholstery you choose determines how your chair feels and how easy it is to look after. Microfibre is the most practical and is often available with a stain-repellent treatment, ideal for families with children or pets. Velvet gives a luxurious, soft look and bouclé is on-trend and playful. Velvet and bouclé are beautiful but a little more delicate, so take into account how intensively the chair will be used.
Electric or manual adjustment
A recliner lets you relax in exactly the right position. Choose manually adjustable and you set the position yourself; with electrically adjustable models you find your ideal position at the touch of a button. Top models offer extra functions such as a massage function, a heating function and a riser function, handy when getting up is a little harder.
