What is the Solana collection and what is it made from

Solana is a complete living collection in solid mango wood. Mango wood is a strong, characterful hardwood with a lively grain pattern, which gives every piece a look of its own. The collection is finished in warm, natural tones including Natural and Taupe, so you can choose between a light, fresh look and a slightly warmer, understated feel. Because all the parts are available in the same finish, they tie in seamlessly.

Sizing advice: from coffee table to dining table

Solana offers furniture in a range of sizes, so you make the right choice for every spot. The coffee tables come in 50 and 80 cm, ideal to combine or to place on their own in the seating area. The dining tables run up to 240 cm and come in oval and round versions: an oval or round table looks softer and is welcome in tighter rooms because you walk around it easily. Sideboards, TV units and wall cabinets come in more generous widths up to 210 cm. Measure the available space in advance and allow room to open drawers and doors.

Finish: Natural and Taupe

With the choice between Natural and Taupe you match Solana to your interior. Natural gives a light, fresh look that suits white walls and pale floors, while Taupe creates a warm, understated feel with a refined greyish brown tone. Because the whole collection is available in the same tones, you can combine dining table, sideboard and TV unit in a consistent colour line and so create a calm, coherent whole.

Caring for solid mango wood

The pieces in the Solana collection are easy to look after. A slightly damp, soft cloth is usually enough to keep them clean, after which you rub the surface dry. Avoid abrasive products and strong cleaning agents to protect the surface. Mop up spills straight away so they do not soak into the wood, and preferably use a coaster under hot or wet objects. That keeps your Solana piece looking good for a long time.
