What makes Root Unique so special

The range is built around solid, natural woods: suar wood, teak and teak root wood. Suar wood is known for its wide, continuous tops and warm colour gradation, ideal for a generous tree trunk table. Teak root wood is taken from the root system of the teak tree and has an irregular, sculptural pattern that makes every piece a truly unique object. Because we work with solid, natural wood, every piece carries its own growth and history with it.

Sizing advice for a tree trunk table

Root Unique includes substantial eye-catchers, up to tree trunk tables of 4 metres and a console table of 250 cm. Pieces like that call for space: keep enough circulation room around the table so you can sit down comfortably and walk past it. Measure the length and width of the available spot in advance and also think about the route inside, because a solid top is heavy and cannot flex. If you are unsure about the right size, our interior advisers are happy to think it through with you.

The tree trunk tables within Root Unique come with different bases, so you can match the look to your interior. Caring for solid teak and suar wood

Keep solid wood beautiful by wiping it regularly with a slightly damp, soft cloth and drying it afterwards. Do not use abrasive products or harsh cleaners. Wipe up spills immediately so they do not soak into the wood, and ideally place warm or wet items on a coaster. That way the natural markings of your Root Unique piece come into their own for years to come.
