Sizing advice: which dimensions suit your sofa

Choose the size on the basis of your seating layout. The usual sizes are 80x80, 100x100 and 120x120 cm. For a two-seater sofa 80x80 cm works well, for a three-seater choose 100x100 cm, and with a large corner sofa 120x120 cm or more looks nicely in proportion. A square coffee table suits symmetrical layouts best, for example two sofas facing each other or a three-seater with two armchairs. If you have a different layout in mind, a rectangular coffee table is often the more logical choice.

Specification and base

The choice of base determines both the style and the stability. A solid wooden block gives a warm, robust look, while a slender steel base makes the whole thing lighter.
