Wall hanging, art print or glass?
An Urban Cotton wall hanging is made of 100% cotton with a matt finish. A rod lets the cloth hang loosely; a frame stretches it taut. An art print is printed on 230 gram paper and can be paired with a frame, depending on the version. Glass art has a glossy surface of extra clear toughened glass. This gives the same design a different appearance from cotton or paper.
Choosing the right size
Measure the free wall space and mark the outline with masking tape. Consider the width of your sofa or sideboard, the distance to the ceiling and furniture, and the view from across the room. Urban Cotton is a Dutch art and wall decoration brand from Barneveld, part of Dutch Interior, the group behind Eleonora, By-Boo and Sevn. The brand works with its own designers and with guest artists who add new works every season. Laura Boudesteijn from Waalwijk paints intuitive portraits with charcoal and ink, including Blooming in Gold and Lady With Blossom, and artist and brand designer Mikki Schellevis from Utrecht creates colourful, poetic works such as Groovy Neutral, Suns in Pink, Suns in Green and Elements Green.
