Umberto modular sofa

The Umberto is a modular sofa programme by Easy Sofa with 27 elements, a seat height of 46 cm and a seat depth of 62 cm at a height of 78 cm. What makes it special is the rounded family: the longchair, the divan and the ottoman exist alongside their straight form in a rounded version too. The set size in which this model is presented on the market is 275 by 216 cm, a 2.5 seater with arm plus a longchair.

The elements

You pay per element, and the price depends on the fabric group. Easy Sofa divides the 386 fabric colours into 11 groups, from A (most affordable) to K (eco leather, the most expensive). Below is the size of each element.

Straight or rounded

A straight and a rounded version exist for nearly every end element. The straight longchair is 216 cm deep, the rounded one 231 cm; the straight divan 160 cm, the rounded one 161 cm. In addition there is a hexagon ottoman 129 cm wide that tapers at an angle, allowing you to finish an arrangement openly rather than closing it off squarely. Within the same sofa you can combine straight seating sections with a rounded finish.

What to keep in mind when composing

A longchair or ottoman in the Umberto has a continuous backrest and therefore makes the turn itself. Such an element consequently connects to a seating section without armrest and not to the corner element; the configurator will indicate this if an arrangement does so anyway. With a divan it works differently: it has an armrest instead of a continuous backrest.

Combining in your interior

Thanks to the modular setup and the wide fabric palette, the Umberto suits a variety of interiors. A beige chenille gives a calm, warm base; velvet in golden brown or anthracite adds texture and depth. The slim metal leg lets the sofa stand free of the floor, which brings a sense of air even in a large arrangement. Combine it with mango wood and metal accents for a rugged whole, or keep it calm with oak and linen.

Umberto or Sesilia?

Both are lounge programmes with a longchair, but they sit differently. The Sesilia is lower: 69 cm high with a seat height of 42 cm, truly laid back. The Umberto is 78 cm high with a seat height of 46 cm, so more upright and easier to get in and out of. If you want rounded end elements, the Umberto is the only one of the two that has them.

Choosing fabric

You choose from 386 colours in 54 qualities. The fabric group determines the price and the configurator factors it in directly. If you are unsure about colour or texture, first request a free fabric sample via info@mokana.nl. An Umberto is made to measure: it is made in your fabric and configuration after your order and is therefore excluded from exchange.

Delivery

The delivery time is 8 weeks. Mokana Meubelen delivers with its own delivery service throughout the Netherlands and places the Umberto in position. You can also view it in our showroom in Enschede.
