Dining chairs: style at every meal

The dining chair is the most used seat in the house. Choose from leather dining chairs, soft fabric models and versions with armrests for extra comfort. Our dining chairs can be ordered in sets of 4, 6 or 8 for a uniform look around your dining table. A 220 cm table comfortably seats 6 chairs, three along each long side, with an optional chair at each end. Allow at least 60 cm of seating width per person.

Armchairs and recliners: your comfort zone

An armchair is your own place to unwind. Mokana carries leather armchairs in cognac, brown and black, soft fabric models and swivel armchairs for maximum flexibility. Add a side table for a lamp and a book and your reading corner is complete. A recliner goes a step further, with an electrically or manually adjustable backrest and footrest and models with a massage or heat function. The difference is clear: an armchair is a fixed comfortable chair with no adjustable parts, while a recliner adjusts and often has extra functions.

Bar stools and dining benches: extra seating variety

Bar stools look good alongside an open kitchen or a bar table and come with a fixed or adjustable height, with common seat heights around 65 and 75 cm. A dining bench is an atmospheric alternative to separate chairs along the long side of the table: more seats in less space. Put the bench on the wall side and the separate chairs on the other side and at the ends. Make sure the heights and styles line up for a calm overall look.

Materials and care

Our chairs range from solid wood with leather to steel frames with velvet or bouclé. Real leather is the most durable and lasts a long time with good care. In fabric, bouclé and woven microfibre are pleasant, robust choices. Velvet is luxurious but a little more sensitive to stains. Want to know how a fabric holds up in daily use? In our showroom at Hogelandsingel 49 in Enschede you can try dining chairs at laid tables, armchairs in a real seating area, recliners with the motor running and bar stools at a test bar. Feel free to bring your laptop, book or knitting to test your usual sitting posture for real. Mokana delivers throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany with its own delivery service. Your chairs arrive ready for assembly or fully assembled, whichever you prefer. You can pay in advance or on receipt.
