Fifty years of craftsmanship from Dobrodzien

Piotr Kler learned the upholstery trade from the age of thirteen with a pre-war master in Dobrodzien, the furniture town of Opole Silesia. In 1973 he opened his own workshop and a year later he designed his first sofa. His son Sebastian joined the company in 2000, and since 2006 Kler has presented its new collections at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. Designers from Italy, France and the rest of Europe draw the models; production stays in Dobrodzien, where every sofa is upholstered by hand.

Kler Attitude: organic shapes, honest minimalism

In 2021 Kler launched the Kler Attitude line for people who look for simplicity and soft, flowing shapes. An international team of young designers led by Wojciech Blaszczyk, who previously worked at Normann Copenhagen, Claesson Koivisto Rune and Nichetto Studio, gave its own reading of softness, freshness and comfort. The Milano sofa is the best known example: rounded corners, a low back and modules you link with quick fasteners into a straight sofa, a corner sofa or a layout with a longchair.

Electric relaxation on the Roma

The Roma relax chaise shows what Kler can do technically. The backrest and headrest adjust electrically, so you go from reading upright to resting stretched out without getting up. The headrest can hold an LED reading lamp with a USB port, and with a battery you use the chaise without a cord. Choose two armrests, one armrest left or right, or none, and link several elements into a relax sofa. Kler combines fabric on the cushions with leather on the body as standard, following fixed colour zones; all leather or all fabric is possible too.

Kler fabrics and leather

Kler works with its own sample collection of fabrics and leather types, divided into price groups. The fabric or leather group you choose sets the price of your sofa, and the configurator shows that price straight away. Kler tests its fabrics for abrasion and colour fastness itself, on top of the mills' laboratory tests. For the Milano you use the fabrics from the Kler Attitude collection. Torn between two fabrics? Delivery time and delivery

Every Kler is made to order in Dobrodzien. Count on a delivery time of 10 weeks until the sofa arrives in Enschede. We then deliver it with our own delivery service in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, right into your living room. Because a Kler is made to measure for you, it cannot be returned. Paying in instalments is possible; ask in store or via our contact form.

Where are Kler sofas made?

In Kler's own factory in Dobrodzien, Poland, where the company has been based since 1973. Every sofa is upholstered there by hand.

What is the delivery time of a Kler?

About 10 weeks from your order until the sofa arrives with us in Enschede. We then plan a delivery slot together.

Can I configure a Kler sofa myself?

Yes. The Milano and the Roma are modular programmes: you choose the elements, the fabric or leather, and see the price directly in the configurator on the product page.

Can I see the Kler fabrics beforehand?

Yes. The configurator shows every fabric with a swatch photo, and the real samples are in our showroom in Enschede. You can also receive a fabric sample at home.
