About this artwork
A wall hanging only works once the proportions to the wall are right: wide enough to form a focal point above a sofa or sideboard, tall enough not to disappear on an open wall. Polly is designed in portrait format, which makes it well suited to spots where you want to emphasise height, such as beside a door or above a low cabinet.

Hanging and care
An Urban Cotton wall hanging can only be hung in an original Urban Cotton frame. The frame is chosen separately, in the same size as your wall hanging, so it fits exactly. A loose cloth has no hanging option of its own.

- 2In a frame the cloth hangs taut and flat against the wall, like a painting.
- 3A floating frame leaves a narrow margin around the cloth, so it appears to float.
Care
A wall hanging does not go in the washing machine. Remove dust with a feather duster or the soft vacuum nozzle; press creases out from the back with plenty of steam at a moderate temperature.
