Manual, electric or an additional function
Controls vary by model. Electric adjustment does not automatically include a lift function, massage or heating. Check the specifications and selected options. For an electric version, check the power supply and whether a battery is included.
Compare Friesland by Chill-Line, Tristan and Koopmans 602. Each product page shows the upholstery, functions and versions available for that model.
Leather or fabric?
Compare the look, feel and care of the available materials. Your choice depends on the specific upholstery and how you use the chair. Browse our leather recliners and fabric recliners. Before a visit to Enschede, ask which model and version you can try in the showroom.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between manual and electric adjustment?
A manual chair uses its own mechanism, such as a lever or body weight. An electric version uses motors. Which parts adjust independently depends on the model and version.
Does every electric recliner have a lift function?
No. A lift function is a separate feature that must be explicitly offered for the chosen version. The same applies to massage, heating and memory positions.
How do I choose the seat dimensions?
Compare seat height, depth, width and backrest height with a chair you find comfortable. Trying the chair helps you judge its fit. Check the overall dimensions in the reclined position too.
Can an electric recliner run on a battery?
That depends on the version. Check whether it uses mains power, whether a battery is an option and whether it is included in the selected price.
Is leather better than fabric?
That depends on the specific upholstery and your use. Compare feel, material properties and care requirements. Follow the instructions for the chosen fabric or leather.
Can I try a recliner before ordering?
Ask which recliner models and versions are currently in our Enschede showroom. You can then plan your visit around the chairs you want to compare.
