Tree Trunk Coffee Table Teak with Animal Leg: Nature as Furniture
This is the Tree Trunk Coffee Table Teak with Animal Leg: a new
variant on our beloved tree trunk coffee table, but with a base that draws attention
like no other. The leg is hand-carved from solid teak and shaped like
a powerful wooden animal leg with claws. Raw, expressive and
100% natural. This is not a piece of furniture that you buy and forget. It is a talking point
that stands in the middle of your living room.
The animal leg: a sculptural masterpiece
What sets this coffee table apart from the standard tree trunk variant is the
sculpturally shaped lower leg. The teak base is manually
worked into an organic, claw-like shape reminiscent of the leg of a
large animal. The thick, round toe sections rise into a robust trunk that seamlessly
transitions into the tree trunk top. The whole is carved from a single piece of nature: no
glue, no screws, pure wood.
The same trusted top, new character
The tabletop is identical to the original tree trunk coffee table: an
organically shaped top of 100% solid teak with the
characteristic grains, colour variations and natural irregularities that make each
piece unique. With a height of 45 cm the table is
perfect to combine with any sofa or lounge set.
Two sizes, one character
The coffee table is available in Ø80 cm and Ø90 cm. Choose the 80 cm
for a more compact arrangement or the 90 cm as a statement in a more spacious living room.

Frequently asked questions
Do you carry the furniture into the room?
Yes, where that is possible. With enough space, a wide enough passage and a lift if there is one, our own drivers put the piece down exactly where you want it. If that cannot be done, we deliver to the front door. Not sure it will fit through your hallway or stairwell? Tell us before the delivery date and we will look at it with you.
Is this piece assembled for me?
What you order in the webshop is delivered but not assembled. Buy the same piece in our store in Enschede and our drivers do place and assemble it on site, and take the packaging away with them.
What does delivery cost?
Within 35 kilometres of Enschede we deliver free of charge. Beyond that, anywhere in the Netherlands you pay 50 euro per order rather than per item, so a sofa and a dining table together cost the same as one of them. Belgium is 100 euro. From 1,000 euro we deliver free within the Netherlands; solid tree trunk tables are excluded from both arrangements because they are too heavy. For Starfurn, Livingfurn and Brix delivery is already free from 250 euro, and for Richmond Interiors from 150 euro.
When will my order be delivered?
The delivery time for this piece is shown with the product on this page. Once it is in, we get in touch to agree a delivery slot together, based on where you live and our delivery route. You are not simply assigned a day you had no say in.
Can I collect the order myself?
Yes. You can collect your order at our store at Hogelandsingel 49 in Enschede. We contact you first, as soon as it is ready for you.
