Description
At 80 cm wide and 120 cm high, Ara in diepblauw fills the space above a sofa or sideboard nicely, without taking over the wall. On an open wall, the format also works well, particularly in a hallway or above a low piece of furniture where the canvas is seen at eye level.
The artwork shows a blue and yellow macaw perched among dark leaves. Its long tail and bright feathers stand out sharply against the deep blue background. The image is printed on canvas using the giclée technique, then finished by hand with acrylic paint, giving the texture and colour a touch more depth than a standard print. Because the finishing is done by hand, each piece from Hiskiart may show slight variations in colour or form.
