Description
Metal foil catches the light on the turban, so the portrait looks slightly different depending on where you stand. The textile elements in the relief give the surface depth: up close you feel texture, from a distance it all blends into a warm, golden brown whole. Beauty met tulband en sieraden shows a woman in profile, richly adorned with an ornate turban and several pieces of jewellery, painted against a background in the same brown and gold tones.
The piece is hand painted with acrylic on canvas, stretched over a wooden frame. Because of this handmade finish, every Hiskiart piece is slightly unique: small differences in colour and shape are part of it.
