Description
At 120 cm wide and 90 cm high, this painting asks for a clear wall or the space above a low sideboard or sofa. At that size it gets the breathing room to really work: not too small, not too dominant.
Beauty met twee blauwe papegaaien shows a woman with a decorated headdress, in profile between two blue parrots. Dark tropical leaves link the figures into one colourful whole. The canvas is printed using the giclée technique and then hand finished, so small differences in colour and shape can occur between pieces. Hiskiart mounted the canvas on a wooden frame with a depth of 3.7 cm, giving the piece its own presence away from the wall.
