Description
A small pink relief catches the eye on the wall straight away: the piglet looks playful and colourful, framed by a round photo frame that softly echoes the shape of the animal portrait. As daylight catches it, the hand-finished paintwork comes to life slightly differently each time, so the piece never feels entirely flat.
The artwork is built on a sturdy backing board and finished with acrylic paint, using a giclée technique that is hand-finished. This means each piece shows its own small variation in colour and form. The pink frame matches the colour of the piglet itself, so the whole thing reads as one playful object rather than a picture with a separate border. Thanks to its compact size, Schilderij Big in roze lijst suits a wall collection of art and personal photos well.
