Description
The relief of the leaves catches your eye first. Thin layers of metal foil pick up daylight differently to the rest of the canvas, so the golden accents lift gently against the grey background. The flower itself is large and light in tone, filling the wide picture plane without becoming heavy. From a distance the painting looks calm, but up close you notice the texture of the brushwork and the foil.
Bloem met gouden bladeren is hand painted on canvas, stretched over a wooden frame. That handmade finish means small variations in colour and shape can occur, making every piece slightly different from the next. The painting from Hiskiart comes with hanging hooks included, ready to hang straight away.
