Description
Canvas on a wooden frame, finished by hand after printing in giclée technique: that is how the painting Buldog aan de top is built up. A French bulldog leans back with confidence, dressed in a light suit with a bow tie, sunglasses and a cigar. The handmade finishing creates small differences in colour and shape, so each piece has something of its own.
The muted tones work well next to dark wood and leather, on a quiet gallery wall where the piece can draw the attention itself. The box frame has a black side and a silver coloured front, giving the whole a neat finish without needing an extra frame.
