Description
Canvas stretched on a wooden frame forms the base of this square portrait, painted in acrylic using a giclée technique and then finished by hand. That final step makes every piece slightly different: glitter and gem stones are applied individually, so small variations in colour and shape can occur.
A French bulldog wearing oversized sunglasses stands in the foreground against a golden background. Black and white contrast sharply with the gold, giving the piece an immediate presence without becoming overstated. The glitter catches the light and adds depth to the surface, even from a distance.
