Description
Blocks of yellow, red, blue and green come together to form a bulldog face with two upright ears. Up close, you see the texture of the acrylic paint on canvas, from a distance it forms a crisp dog portrait. When daylight catches the surface, the structure of the paint blocks stands out even more.
Schilderij Buldog in kleurvlakken brings a pop art accent to an otherwise calm wall. The dog's head and chest are built up from bold colour blocks, while the rest of the canvas stays empty. That contrast gives the piece its distinct character. The canvas is stretched over a wooden frame and finished using the giclée technique, hand finished. Because each piece is finished by hand, small differences in colour and shape can occur, meaning no two pieces are exactly alike.
