Description
52.5 centimetres wide and 72.5 centimetres high: a size that works well above a sofa, sideboard or on an open wall without overpowering the room. The Citroentak geel painting shows yellow lemons among green leaves on a light, botanical picture plane. The loose branches and clear colours give the piece a Mediterranean feel, light and fresh.
The canvas is stretched over a wooden frame and finished in acrylic paint using giclée, a printing technique that is then refined by hand. This gives the image more depth than an ordinary print. Because every piece is hand finished, small variations in colour and shape may occur, no two pieces are exactly alike. Hiskiart finished the edge with a tray frame: the side is black, the front silver coloured, giving the whole a calm, modern surround.
