Description
Metal foil catches the light differently than paint alone. On City Stroll, that gives the tall facades of the narrow street a softly glowing depth, especially when daylight falls across it at an angle. The loose brushstrokes in blue and beige keep the street scene dreamlike, without losing detail. Thanks to the giclée technique, finished by hand, each piece looks slightly different: small variations in colour and shape are part of the process.
The canvas is stretched over a wooden frame with a depth of 3.7 cm, so the relief of the brushstrokes stays visible even from the side. Hanging hooks are included, so you can place the piece straight away.
