Description
A square format of 72 by 72 centimetres brings a sense of calm to the wall. Above a low sideboard, there is room to spare on either side, and on an open wall it reads as a solid, self contained piece without taking over the room. The 5 centimetre depth creates a slight shadow line, so the painting appears to float away from the wall.
Compositie met goudaccenten shows fine dark lines and gold toned areas set within a layered, greyish brown composition. The craquelé finish and metal foil give it a weathered, understated look. Each piece is hand painted, so small variations in colour and form compared with the image can occur.
