Description
At eighty by eighty centimetres, De pluisfamilie has enough presence above a sofa or sideboard, yet stays compact enough for a bare wall without taking it over. With a depth of 3.5 centimetres, the artwork sits slightly forward, giving it more dimension than a flat-framed print.
The piece shows a group of alpacas, worked out with textile elements and faux fur that give the animals a tactile structure. The giclée print is finished by hand, so small differences in colour and shape are part of the result: no two pieces are exactly alike. The photo frame in a vintage wood tone suits a warm, rustic or eclectic interior.
