Description
Ninety centimetres wide and a hundred and twenty centimetres tall: that size gives Facetten in natureltinten enough presence above a sofa or sideboard, while it still works comfortably on an open wall without dominating the room. The upright composition lets white, beige, grey and black blocks alternate, with loose edges that soften the geometric pattern.
Each piece is hand painted on canvas, stretched over a wooden frame and finished in acrylic paint. The craquelé finish gives the paint surface a fine cracked texture, lending the painting a certain depth and age. Because of this handmade approach, every piece varies slightly in colour and shape, no two Hiskiart paintings are quite the same.
