Description
At 40 by 40 centimetres, Flowery Perfume fits neatly above a sideboard, a narrow cabinet or in a row along a bare wall. The square format makes it a calm focal point above the sofa, without dominating the room. The depth of 3.7 centimetres gives the canvas on a wooden frame just enough relief to appear to stand slightly off the wall.
The still life shows two perfume bottles among pink roses and pale flowers. The soft colour palette gives the compact image a romantic feel, suited to a bedroom, hallway or living room where a gentle accent is wanted. The giclée technique is finished by hand with a metallic foil, so light catches the paint and foil differently than on an ordinary print.
