Description
At 60 cm wide and 90 cm high, this painting does not ask for an entire wall, but for a spot where it can speak quietly for itself: above a sideboard, next to a sofa or on an otherwise bare wall. The size is compact enough to hang among other pieces, yet large enough to stand on its own.
The canvas shows a boy in sunglasses resting one foot on a football, set against a colourful graffiti wall. The black and white silhouette of the figure forms a clear focal point among the vivid signs around it. The image is printed onto canvas using the giclée technique and then finished by hand, so the acrylic paint gives texture and depth to the surface. The high gloss finish makes the graffiti colours stand out further.
