Description
Canvas on a wooden frame, hand finished after giclée printing: that is how Gorilla in stijl by Hiskiart comes together. The acrylic paint gives depth to the dark suit and golden patterns, while the warm background full of graffiti and loose marks keeps its playful edge. A gorilla in sunglasses wearing a classic outfit, given a playful pop art twist.
The square format works well as a calm focal point above a sideboard or as a statement piece in a hallway. The box frame with its black side and golden front ties in neatly with the colours in the painting itself. Because each piece is finished by hand, small differences in colour and shape can occur, no two pieces are exactly alike.
