Description
Canvas on a wooden frame forms the base of this piece, with acrylic paint applied in loose strokes and dripping accents. The giclée print has been finished by hand, giving each piece its own character: this hand finishing means small differences in colour and shape can occur.
A gorilla holds a cigar against a background full of pink, orange and red paint splashes. The large hand and dark gaze give the portrait strength, while the loose colour streaks give the square piece an expressive look.
