Description
Sixty by sixty centimetres: a size large enough to hang alone above a sideboard, yet compact enough to sit among other artwork on an open wall. The 3.5 cm depth gives the painting body, so it stands proud of the wall rather than lying flat against it.
Grote persoonlijkheid portrays a cow wearing sunglasses, a white shirt and a tie. The horns and the tousled fringe make the portrait instantly recognisable and a touch wilful. The piece is produced using giclée printing and then finished by hand, with textile elements and faux fur as the finishing touch. That means each piece feels slightly different: small variations in colour and shape are simply part of this handmade finish.
