Description
At 120 cm wide and 90 cm high, Hooglander in de lente fills an open wall without overwhelming it. Above a sofa or a low sideboard, it settles into a quiet balance: the painting draws the eye while still leaving the room around it room to breathe.
The Scottish highland cow tilts its shaggy head slightly forward, set among white flowers and green leaves. These details stand out warmly against the soft background. The entire piece is hand painted on canvas, stretched over a wooden frame. Because of this handmade finish, each piece can vary slightly in colour or form, no two paintings are exactly alike.
