Description
A group of colourful cows looks out at you from the canvas. The paint is applied by hand, so in raking daylight you can see real texture in the colour fields: a thicker brushstroke here and there, a touch of relief that a flat screen can never show. The farm animal motif is built up loosely from bold blocks of colour, giving the painting a lively, graphic presence above the sofa or sideboard.
The piece is made of canvas stretched on a wooden frame and finished with acrylic paint. The giclée technique provides a sharp image, which is then finished by hand. As a result, small differences in colour and shape can occur, making each piece slightly its own.
