Description
A relief of paint stands out from the canvas: layers of acrylic applied by hand over the giclée print, so the flowers and slender leaves seem to lift from the surface. Against the dark background, the pinks, greens and soft cream tones gain depth, especially when daylight catches the surface at an angle and reveals the texture. That makes Lovely Flowers feel more like an object than a flat print.
The artwork is square, 100 by 100 centimetres, and with a depth of 3.7 centimetres it sits firmly against the wall without looking flat. Hiskiart finishes every piece by hand, so small variations in colour and shape can occur: no two pieces are entirely alike.
