Description
Canvas on a wooden frame, painted with acrylics and finished with metallic foil: this is how the elephant gets its soft shimmer in sandy tones. The giclée technique is hand finished, so each piece carries small individual differences in colour and shape. A beige box frame surrounds the work and sits quietly alongside the warm cream tones of the animal.
The elephant fills the frame with large ears and a curved trunk. The background is kept loose, keeping the portrait light despite its size. The result is a calm wall piece whose soft palette suits many interior styles, from rustic to modern.
