Description
A square of 82.5 by 82.5 centimetres is large enough to hang on its own above a sideboard or sofa, without needing a second piece beside it. The depth of 4.5 centimetres gives the painting presence on the wall, it stands out noticeably rather than lying flat.
On canvas, a panda appears amid bold splashes of colour against a black background. The panda's familiar black and white takes on a distinct pop art look, a clear contrast that stands out in both a calm and a colourful room. The giclee technique is finished by hand, so small differences in colour and shape can occur: each piece is slightly its own.
