Description
On the wall, the first thing you notice is the play of lines: sailing boats with pale sails crossing blue grey water. The wide sky and loose brushstrokes give the scene space and movement, as if the wind still sits in the sails. Because Regatta is finished by hand, the surface carries a gentle relief. When daylight sweeps across it, the paint texture catches the light and shifts softly through the day.
The piece is made using the giclée technique on canvas, stretched over a wooden frame. That frame gives the work depth, standing slightly off the wall rather than lying flat against it. Due to the handmade finish, each Regatta can differ slightly in colour and form, giving the piece its own character.
