Description
A dark blue plane sits above a sand coloured strip. The craquelé finish breaks the surface into fine lines that catch the light whenever daylight falls across it at an angle. The box frame in a wood tone gives the piece depth and holds it away from the wall.
Sandy Beach is hand painted with acrylic on canvas, stretched over a wooden frame. Because of this handmade finish, each piece can vary slightly in colour or shape. The simple division of the surface and the space between the two fields keep the image calm.
