Description
Canvas on a wooden frame forms the basis of Shades of Sand narrow, hand painted with acrylic in narrow, overlapping bands of beige, sand and white. The composition looks calm, yet on closer inspection the subtle tonal differences let the texture of the brushstrokes speak. A wood coloured box frame runs around the edge, giving the piece a finished border without drawing attention away from the canvas. The textile elements in the finish add a tactile layer to the whole.
Because each piece is hand painted, slight differences in colour and shape may occur: no two pieces from Hiskiart are exactly alike. Hanging hooks are included, so the painting can be hung straightaway.
