Description
Ninety centimetres wide and one hundred and twenty centimetres high: this size fills the wall above a sofa or sideboard without taking it over. On an open wall, the painting gets the space to stand on its own, with the wooden path and wide horizon as a calm focal point in the room.
On the canvas, a woman in a light hat and dress walks along a wooden path towards the beach. The soft colours and wide horizon give the scene a calm, quietly reflective mood. Hiskiart painted the scene by hand on canvas and worked textile elements into the finish, so you can see texture and relief up close too. Because the piece is finished by hand, slight variations in colour or form can occur between pieces, which is part of the craft.
