Description
Square, 70 by 70 centimetres: that format suits a bare wall or the space above a low sideboard, where the square shape brings calm without dominating the room. The 3.8 centimetre depth adds relief, the painting stands slightly proud of the wall and so carries a bit more presence than a flat print.
The canvas shows a black and white cow holding a sprig of flowers in its mouth, a light hearted, rural scene. The canvas is hand finished with acrylic paint using giclée technique, which means no two pieces are entirely identical: small variations in colour and form are part of the craft. Hiskiart finished it with an oak coloured box frame, giving the rural motif a warm, natural edge.
