Description
The thick layers of paint on the canvas catch the light in a way a printed image never could. Close to the Arc de Triomphe, walkers with a red umbrella move through a Parisian street scene painted in soft grey and brown tones. The acrylic paint has been applied by hand, so you can feel and see texture in places once daylight falls across it at an angle.
That handwork gives the piece a calm, understated presence, suited to a room where you are after atmosphere and depth rather than bold colour. The canvas is stretched over a wooden frame with a depth of 3.7 cm, so the painting stands firm on the wall even without an extra frame. Hiskiart includes the hanging hooks, so you can put it up straight away.
