Oak as the base of Oakura

Oakura is built around oak, a much loved wood thanks to its beautiful grain and its durable, sturdy structure. The collection is offered in two tones: a natural brown that emphasises the warmth of the wood, and a crisp black for a modern, understated look. The coffee tables come in a square format of 90 by 90 cm, among others, in both brown and black. So you are not only choosing a piece, but also the mood it radiates.

Sizing advice for coffee table and cabinet

With the Oakura coffee table of 90 by 90 cm it is pleasant to keep enough circulation space to the sofa, so you can pass and sit down easily. If you choose a bookcase or wall cabinet, first measure the available height and width of your wall and allow for the room the doors or drawers need. A bookcase looks calmest if you alternate open compartments with some closed storage. Brown or black: choosing the version

The choice between brown and black determines the mood of your interior. The brown version emphasises the natural, warm character of oak and sits beautifully in country and Scandinavian styled rooms. Caring for oak furniture

Wipe your Oakura pieces regularly with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and rub them dry afterwards. Avoid abrasive sponges and aggressive cleaning products, because they can attack the finish. Keep the wood away from bright direct sunlight and direct heat sources, because large swings in temperature and humidity can make oak move. On the black version dust is sometimes more visible, so a light wipe keeps the piece looking crisp.
