Floor Lamp Jose: Solid Teak | One of a Kind
The Floor Lamp Jose is no ordinary lamp. It is a sculpture, a
work of art, a talking point. Made from a solid piece of teak
with all its natural shapes, twists and grain intact, this is a lamp you will find nowhere
else. Each Floor Lamp Jose is unique and is made only once.
Nature as designer
The base of this lamp is an organically shaped teak trunk of approximately 150 cm
high, mounted on a sleek black steel base plate. From the two natural
tops rise two fittings, each fitted with a decorative
Edison bulb with amber glass. The contrast between the raw, warm wood
and the industrial steel makes this lamp timelessly versatile: at home in a modern
interior, yet just as fitting in a robust, rural or tropical home.
Crafted by hand
Teak is known for its exceptional durability, rich
warm colour and the characteristic grain that gives each piece of wood its own identity.
With the Floor Lamp Jose, a deliberate choice was made to keep the wood as natural as possible:
no sleek polishing, but an honest, hand-finished surface that puts the
beauty of the material centre stage.

Frequently asked questions
Do you carry the furniture into the room?
Yes, where that is possible. With enough space, a wide enough passage and a lift if there is one, our own drivers put the piece down exactly where you want it. If that cannot be done, we deliver to the front door. Not sure it will fit through your hallway or stairwell? Tell us before the delivery date and we will look at it with you.
Is this piece assembled for me?
What you order in the webshop is delivered but not assembled. Buy the same piece in our store in Enschede and our drivers do place and assemble it on site, and take the packaging away with them.
What does delivery cost?
Within 35 kilometres of Enschede we deliver free of charge. Beyond that, anywhere in the Netherlands you pay 50 euro per order rather than per item, so a sofa and a dining table together cost the same as one of them. Belgium is 100 euro. From 1,000 euro we deliver free within the Netherlands; solid tree trunk tables are excluded from both arrangements because they are too heavy. For Starfurn, Livingfurn and Brix delivery is already free from 250 euro, and for Richmond Interiors from 150 euro.
When will my order be delivered?
The delivery time for this piece is shown with the product on this page. Once it is in, we get in touch to agree a delivery slot together, based on where you live and our delivery route. You are not simply assigned a day you had no say in.
Can I collect the order myself?
Yes. You can collect your order at our store at Hogelandsingel 49 in Enschede. We contact you first, as soon as it is ready for you.
