The Ascot corner sofa is not a fixed sofa but an extensive system of modules that you compose entirely to your own taste, space and wishes. With more than seventy available elements, three armrest widths, two seating comfort levels, optional electric functions and a choice of over one hundred fabrics, the Ascot offers unrivalled personalisation. Whether you are looking for a compact lounge sofa for an apartment or an expansive corner arrangement for a spacious living room, the Ascot makes every configuration possible.

Endlessly modular

The Ascot consists of a complete family of modules in various widths. Start with a 1-seater (80 cm) and expand with 1.25-seater (90 cm), 1.5-seater (100 cm), 2-seater, 2.5-seater or 3-seater modules. Add longchairs in four different widths (80, 90, 100 or XXL 130 cm), corner elements with single seat and island (left or right), trapeze elements, footstools in compact (60 cm) or wide (80 cm) format, and plateau intermediate elements with an HPL or solid oak surface for extra surface space. All elements are finished in matching fabric and colour for a cohesive whole.

Electric relax function 2M for optimal comfort

The Ascot is available with an advanced electric relax function with two motors. The first motor brings the footrest into the so-called TV position, where the footrest rises about 45 cm for comfortable viewing or reading. The second motor activates the heart-balance position: a resting position in which the backrest tilts firmly backwards and the footrest rises to a height of about 59 cm, so that your feet and legs are higher than your heart. A scientifically supported resting position that promotes circulation and relaxation. The relax function is available for the 1-seater, 1.25-seater and 1.5-seater elements.

Electrically adjustable seat depth (SAz with motor)

For those seeking maximum seating comfort, the SAz with motor version is available: an electrically adjustable seat that moves approximately 25 cm. With this you extend the seat at the push of a button for extra leg support and lounge comfort, or shorten it for a more upright sitting posture. Available in all 1-seater, 1.25-seater, 1.5-seater, 2-seater and 2.5-seater modules with or without armrest. Operated via sensors on the side of the seat cushion or via a wireless remote control (at additional cost).

Adjustable headrest in 4 widths

For extra support of neck and head, a variably adjustable headrest is available in four widths: 60, 70, 80 and 100 cm. The headrest works with a ratchet mechanism that can be locked in several positions. For elements with a relax function, we always recommend ordering the headrest as well to make optimal use of the relax positions. The metal bracket of the headrest is available only in black.

Three armrest widths

The armrest is available in three different widths to suit your style preference and space:

• Type A: approximately 33 cm wide, generous and comfortable
• Type B: approximately 28 cm wide, average width with a sleek appearance
• Type D: approximately 21 cm wide, minimalist and modern

The price of the armrest is added separately to the price of the base element, so that you can freely choose which type suits your desired appearance.

Plateau intermediate elements with HPL or solid oak

A distinctive feature of the Ascot are the plateau intermediate elements that integrate a surface for setting things down. Available in two variants: HPL (High Pressure Laminate) with the properties of impact resistance, stain resistance, water resistance, temperature resistance and easy cleaning. HPL1 is included as standard, HPL2 at additional cost. As an alternative, solid oak is available at additional cost for a natural, warm appearance. Solid oak is a natural product in which small knots and natural discolouration are no reason for complaint.

Seating comfort: HR standard or HR Premium

Two seating comfort levels are available:

• HR (standard): Nosag springs with HR foam 35 kg/m3 and Diolen wadding cover layer
• HR Premium (additional cost): Nosag springs with HR Premium foam 55 kg/m3 and Diolen wadding cover layer

The Premium version offers more resilience and longer shape retention, ideal for those who use the sofa intensively or prefer a firmer seat.

A choice of over 100 fabrics

The Ascot is available in fabric groups 2 to 9 with more than one hundred fabrics available in our showroom. Bouclé, chenille, textured linen, velvet, microfibre and outdoor-resistant variants are all possible. Our advisers in the showroom in Enschede show the current fabric chart and help you make the right fabric choice based on use, family members, pets and desired appearance. Request a free fabric sample before you decide definitively. Please note: all elements are finished in the same fabric and colour; differing colour-fabric combinations are not possible.

RAL Gütezeichen approved and climate neutral

The Ascot is multiply RAL Gütezeichen approved: RAL Gütezeichen Möbel for product quality (Möbel Produktqualität), DGM Klimapakt Klimaneutral for climate-neutral production, and RAL Schadstoffgeprüft for the absence of harmful substances. A reassurance for those who value certification, sustainability and a healthy living environment in their home.

Important to know

The Ascot has fixed upholstery with a relaxed appearance, in which creasing is product-related and part of the design. For elements with a relax function or motor, the back cushions are fixed in place rather than loose. Only the English seam is possible; a contrast seam is not available. For elements with a motor, a wall distance of approximately 16 cm is required (measured from the headrest) to allow the full relax position. The manufacturer advises loading the motor continuously for no more than 2 minutes, followed by a pause of at least 18 minutes. A battery (at additional cost) is available for arrangements without a fixed power supply.

Made to order

Each Ascot is produced to order in the chosen combination, fabric, colour, seating comfort and functions. The delivery time is approximately 8 weeks after order confirmation. We deliver with our own delivery service throughout the Netherlands and the German border region around Gronau, including on-site placement and the correct assembly and connection of the electric functions.
