This beautiful example is finished in a grey bouclé-style fabric (fabric group S2) and features the popular configuration of a 2.5-seater sofa with arm combined with an open round island: a generous, inviting corner arrangement that instantly gives any living room a luxurious character.
The Shadow is a sofa that stands out for its flowing, organic lines, the subtly rounded armrest and the slender black legs. Soft enough to sink into for hours, refined enough to complete the finest living rooms. The Shadow is arranged in the configuration 2.5-seater with arm (AL 2.5) + open round island (OE-R). This creates a spacious L-arrangement in which the open round island forms a soft, rounded corner: ideal for a free-standing island arrangement in the middle of the room or against the wall.

Quality inside and out
The Shadow by Het Anker is built on a frame of beech wood and plywood: solid and durable. The seat cushion is filled with HR40 foam combined with fibre wool for a soft yet supportive seat. The backrest has HR30 foam with fibre wool, and the suspension consists of no-sag springs in the seat and elastic webbing in the back. All hallmarks of a sofa made to last.

Frequently asked questions
Do you carry the furniture into the room?
Yes, where that is possible. With enough space, a wide enough passage and a lift if there is one, our own drivers put the piece down exactly where you want it. If that cannot be done, we deliver to the front door. Not sure it will fit through your hallway or stairwell? Tell us before the delivery date and we will look at it with you.
Is this piece assembled for me?
What you order in the webshop is delivered but not assembled. Buy the same piece in our store in Enschede and our drivers do place and assemble it on site, and take the packaging away with them.
What does delivery cost?
Within 35 kilometres of Enschede we deliver free of charge. Beyond that, anywhere in the Netherlands you pay 50 euro per order rather than per item, so a sofa and a dining table together cost the same as one of them. Belgium is 100 euro. From 1,000 euro we deliver free within the Netherlands; solid tree trunk tables are excluded from both arrangements because they are too heavy. For Starfurn, Livingfurn and Brix delivery is already free from 250 euro, and for Richmond Interiors from 150 euro.
When will my order be delivered?
The delivery time for this piece is shown with the product on this page. Once it is in, we get in touch to agree a delivery slot together, based on where you live and our delivery route. You are not simply assigned a day you had no say in.
Can I collect the order myself?
Yes. You can collect your order at our store at Hogelandsingel 49 in Enschede. We contact you first, as soon as it is ready for you.
