Mars Corner Sofa 2.5-seater with Island: Organic Sofa from the Beatris Collection

The Mars corner sofa from the Beatris Collection is not a sofa you easily forget. The soft, rounded contours, the velvety surface of the upholstery and the elegant black steel legs give this piece an appearance that fits seamlessly with a Japandi interior, a modern living environment or a natural interior with earthy tones. This showroom model, a 2.5-seater end element with attached organic island (CIR), is available now from our showroom in Enschede for €1,475.

Composition: 2.5P + CIR Island element

The Mars is a fully modular sofa collection: each part is an independent element that can be combined as you wish. This model consists of two elements:

• 2.5P end element (left or right): the long seating element with one arm at the end. Width 170 cm, depth 96 cm. The arm has a width of 20 cm and flows organically into the seat and back section.
• CIR island element (left or right mirrored): the round, continuous closing piece that finishes the corner sofa with a flowing, curved shape. Width 98 cm, depth 114 cm. This element gives the sofa its characteristic organic look: no sharp corners, but a soft curve that invites you to curl up.

The combination of the 2.5P + CIR gives a total width of approximately 260-270 cm and offers comfortable seating for 3 to 4 people. The island element also serves as a lounge section to rest your legs, without a separate footstool.

Material and finish

The Mars is upholstered in a soft, velvety textured fabric in a warm taupe-grey tone (Marbella 04), a colour that combines excellently with both light and dark interiors. The fabric feels pleasant, has a subtle texture and reflects the light in a way that brings the organic shapes of the sofa extra to life. The upholstery is interchangeable on a new order: the Mars is available in a wide palette of fabric and leather types.

The legs are made of black lacquered steel, 15 cm high, and give the sofa a light, floating effect. The seat height is 48 cm, comfortable for most body heights. The seat depth of 60 cm provides an inviting, deep seating experience without you sinking away.

Fully modular: expandable to any size

The Mars is designed as a fully configurable modular system. The supplied configuration (2.5P + CIR) can be expanded with additional elements at any time. View the possibilities on our organic sofas page or ask our showroom advisers for advice. A few popular extensions:

• Adding a 1M or 2M middle element for more seating width
• Combining with a LCH.M or OT element for an extra deep longchair arrangement
• Complete U-arrangement possible by combining two end elements with several middle elements
