The Kart loveseat from the German brand Fabbrica is not a traditional armchair but a spacious round 1.5-seater swivel armchair that combines comfort and functionality in a striking organic design. Swivel function for flexibility

The Kart stands on a smooth swivel base that allows a fluid 360-degree rotation. Ideal for open-plan living rooms where the seating area serves several functions, or for reading corners where you want to follow the daylight. The swivel base features a sound-dampening mechanism that turns softly and steadily, without creaking or resistance.

Over 40 fabric and leather colours

The Kart loveseat is available in over forty different fabric and leather colours, spread across thirteen fabric groups from FAB MICRO (basic) to CAT 50 / EFA-MSH (premium). Bouclé, chenille, textured linen, velvet, microfibre and various leather finishes are all possible. Piping in tone-on-tone or black leather

A characteristic detail of the Kart is the piping that runs along the seat and armrests. Two variants are available: tone-on-tone, where the piping is finished in the same colour as the chosen fabric for a calm, understated appearance, or black leather for a chic accent that further emphasises the organic shapes. The black leather piping works particularly well on lighter fabrics such as cream, beige or powder pink, and gives the loveseat a more designer appearance. Other piping colours are not possible due to the construction.

The Kart loveseat is part of a complete family of four configurations that combine seamlessly with each other in the same fabric and colour:

Particularly popular is the combination of the 1.5SCH loveseat with the matching RDFSTA pouffe, allowing you to create a complete lounge set in which you can fully stretch out your legs. The pouffe has the same organic round appearance and fits perfectly at the front of the loveseat.

Made in Germany, handmade

The Kart is produced in Germany by Fabbrica Germany, a furniture maker with decades of experience in handmade seating comfort. Each piece is made to order in the chosen fabric, colour, piping and leg finish. Due to the handmade character, marginal differences in dimensions (+/- 2 cm) may occur; this is part of the authentic character of a handmade piece of furniture and is not a product fault.

Maintenance

The maintenance of the Kart depends on the chosen fabric or leather. For fabrics we recommend regular vacuuming with a soft brush and treating stains immediately with a lightly damp cloth or fabric cleaner (test first on an inconspicuous spot). Bouclé and chenille fabrics require extra care: brush gently in the direction of the pile and do not rub hard to prevent fluffing. For leather, a neutral leather grease or balm once every six months is sufficient to keep the leather supple and radiant. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent discolouration.

Made to order

Each Kart loveseat is made to order in Germany in the chosen fabric, colour, piping and leg finish. The delivery time is approximately 8 weeks after order confirmation. We deliver with our own delivery service throughout the Netherlands and the German border region around Gronau, including placement on location.
